LONDON: Benedict Cumberbatch’s former girlfriend, actress Olivia Poulet, became a married woman on Christmas Eve. The Thick of It star, who split from Cumberbatch in 2011 after 10 years together, tied the knot with actor Laurence Dobiesz on Thursday. A picture obtained by Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper shows the couple being showered with confetti as they leave the wedding venue. Poulet shunned a traditional wedding gown in favour of a knee-length plain white dress. On Christmas Day, she tweeted a picture of a luxury food gift and wrote, “Best first Christmas present from my husband ever.”–COM
