Peshawar - Brushing aside perception about cracks in the opposition parties’ alliance (PDM), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman on Saturday said that PDM was playing its cards in most efficient manner and claimed that all public meetings of the opposition alliance were successful.
Talking to media personsin after chairing a party of his Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (JUI-Fazl) here at party’s provincial headquarter, Maulana Fazl said that there were differences or difference of opinion but calling it as rift was incomprehensible and unjustifiable. He said that another massive rally would also be held in Hyderabad next month on February 9. Maulana Fazl also stressed the need to work as a nation to save the country.
The PDM chief said that future of incumbent rulers was bleak and the country had faced humiliation multiple times at international level due to the incompetence of the incumbent “illegal and selected” government. “Truly the people’s government is now the need of the hour,” he added. Maulana Fazl vowed that they would change the destiny of the country with public movement and sentiments. He said it had now become a national duty to get rid of the incumbent and incompetent puppet rulers.
Commenting on the regional and global issues, the PDM chief criticised the government’s poor foreign policy as the country had been isolated internationally. He said that Transparency International report and Broadsheet scandal had exposed the performance of the “incompetent government” and national exchequer had suffered loss of millions of dollars. He also emphasized that the real public representative government had become inevitable in the existing situations of the country.
