LAHORE - The Lahore High Court Friday issued a notice to Waqas Akram, PML-Q MNA from NA- 89 Jhang on a petition seeking his disqualification on the allegations of bogus BA degree. The petition was filed by Khalid Mehmood, a voter of his constituency NA- 89, through his counsel Arif Mehmood Rana Advocate. The petitioner pleaded that Waqas Akram got BA degree through unfair means. He said admission form of Waqas Akram in BA examination was doubtful as it showed a roll no of passing FA, which was not present in the gazette of the BISE Lahore. He said the signature of Waqas Akram on the BA form were doubtful. The court issued notice to the MNA for reply and adjourned the hearing for three weeks.
