Timergara - Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, on Wednesday claimed Imran Khan had lost moral authority to sit in the office of the Prime Minister anymore.
Addressing a news conference here at Ahya-ul-Uloom Balambat, he maintained that the PTI government is a guest of few more days. He asked the ideological workers of the PTI to support Jamaat-e-Islami in the second phase of local bodies elections being held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today (Thursday).
Senator Mushtaq alleged that PTI has utilised government resources and machinery for its political aims which is a pre-poll rigging but despite that the government will suffer defeat in the second phase of LG elections.
The JI leader urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to initiate legal action against Prime Minister and other public office holders who violated the election rules in second phase of LG polls and ensure free, fair and transparent elections by providing level playing field to all candidates.
He also asked the district administration to ensure fair play by its impartiality. He claimed that JI would sweep second phase of local bodies polls in Malakand and Hazara divisions.
