Zardari condemns Beijing terror attack

ISLAMABAD  - Former President Asif Ali Zardari has condemned the reported terrorist attack in Beijing on Monday resulting in the killing of five people and injury to many more.
Zardari said that no words were strong enough to condemn the brutal attack, in a statement issued PPP secretariat. Noting that suspects involved in the crime had been swiftly apprehended the former President said that the quick move by the authorities was most welcome and expressed the hope that it will help in nipping the evil of militancy and extremism in the bud, he added.
The former President said that relations between Pakistan and China transcended domestic political considerations as is evident from the decisions to undertake Gawadur project, improve connectivity and turn this region into a vibrant trade, energy and economic corridor.
