Army called in as 3 killed in Nawabshah

Army troops were called in as panic griped Nawabshah city following an armed clash between activists of the PPPP and MQM in which three people lost their lives and eight others sustained injuries here on Sunday.
Police said the both group clashed after exchanging slogans near District Returning Officer's office. They used firearms in which 10 people were injured who were rushed to the People'sMedicalCollegeHospital. At least two persons died due to bullet wounds, said hospital sources.
Later, a man was gunned down in firing at Gharibabad locality further fanning the tension. District administration sought help from law enforcing agencies to control law and order in the town. Contingents of LEAs including Army were seen patrolling on streets.
