ISLAMABAD - Federal Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government would provide justice to the victims of child abuse scandal and give exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in this act at all casts.
In a statement on Monday, the minister expressed grave concerns over the incident, saying Kasur incident is extremely condemnable and such incidents cannot be tolerated in any civilised society.
The minister welcomed the initiative of the chief minister Punjab for ordering a judicial inquiry into the matter and expressed confidence that the inquiry would not only unveil the truth but also identify those behind it.
“The prime minister has already taken serious notice of the incident and sought a report in this regard,” he added. The minister expressed the hope that the people would volunteer in sharing any information or evidence with the authorities so that those responsible could be identified and prosecuted speedily in the court of law.
