Bodies of 2 men found by police in twin cities
RAWALPINDI - The bodies of two men were found by police in two different localities of the twin cities here on Wednesday, informed sources.Rescuers moved the bodies to hospital for postmortem, they said.
According to sources, Murree police found the body of a 33-year-old man named Shehbaz Zahid from an under-construction building located at Rawat Village in Bhurban. Parents of the deceased approached police claiming unknown killers murdered him. However, Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Murree Inspector Raja Rashid told media that it was suggested during initial investigation that the man died after falling down from the third floor of the six-story building. He said police had registered a murder case on complaint of father of deceased and began investigation.
Meanwhile, the body of another man was found by Shamas Colony police while hanging from a tree along Srinagar Highway in H-11. The rescuers shifted the body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for autopsy.
The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained, sources said.
