ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa acquired SSC and HSSC degrees from Sir Syed College, Rawalpindi, after which he was selected in Kakul.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui used to teach Urdu to Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa was a good sportsman and he used to play as wicketkeeper.
It is worth mentioning here that Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad and Anwarul Haq, son of former military ruler Ziaul Haq were also students of Irfan Siddiqui.
